Round 7 (Pick# 236):

Cotchery (6-0, 199LBS) is a two time first team all ACC selection who broke school records with 200 career receptions and 15 career 100-yard receiving games, both previously held by current Rams WR Torry Holt. He is also the only ACC WR history besides Peter Warrick to catch 200 career receptions and have 3000 career receiving yards. His scouting report lists Cotchery as a quick WR with an athletic frame, long arms and good lower body power. Hes a bit raw but has a lot of upside potential. His speed is not great (4.66/40) but he makes up for it with precise moves and good leg drive after the catch.

Jones (6-4 296) has talent but is a project. He was converted from TE his senior year at Kansas and added close to 40 Lbs of muscle in the process. Hes a quick, physical player with a lot of potential that will undoubtedly be spending a lot of time with Jets OL coach Doug Marrone to develop into an NFL caliper lineman.

The Jets next pick is in the fifth round (Pick 143).
