McClover (6-2, 220LBS), could be a diamond in the rough as a 7th round pick. He was a special teams standout for Miami during his college career and stepped up as a regular player on defense for the Hurricanes as an OLB. His scouting report describes McClover as having “outstanding quickness and range and hard hitting tacking skills.” Due to his size and weight on the lower side, some scouts had him projected as a good candidate to switch to safety at the pro level.

The Jets have three more picks in the 7th round (Picks 234, 235 and 236). All of the remaining picks are compensatory selections that were awarded to the Jets by the NFL.
