Miller was one of two second round selections (#57 overall) that the team had in this year's draft. The 5-10, 202 pound cornerback/kick returner from Clemson, finished his collegiate career with 169 tackles (134 solos), a sack and three forced fumbles along with 1,534 yards on 50 kickoff returns. His thirteen interceptions during his three collegiate seasons place him third in Clemson history.

Also an accomplished kick returner, Miller's 30.7 career average is the best in ACC history and the fourth-best in NCAA history. He enjoyed his best statistical year in 2004, when he returned three kicks for touchdowns (school single-season record) and led the nation with a 33.1-yard average.

Miller is expected to immediately compete for the departed Santana Moss' punt return duties and possibly also kickoff returns.

Players are set to report to camp tomorrow and begin practice on Friday. The only remaining draft pick unsigned is fellow second round choice K Mike Nugent who according to Jets Insider.com sources, should be inked before camp starts.
