Jets Insider.com has learned that an MRI performed on the knee of Jets RB Curtis Martin was negative and the injury is not serious.

Martin strained his knee during the Jetsí win over Miami last Sunday. Despite the injury, he played the entire game. They will ice the knee all week and his practice time may be reduced but Martin is expected to be ready to go this Sunday against Jacksonville.

Roster Moves: The Jets made a roster move on their practice squad today by releasing LB Dennis Haley (Virginia) and signing RB Terry Butler (Villanova). Both players are undrafted rookie free agents who participated in Jets training camp this summer.
