Jets Extend Graham, Make Other Roster Moves

The Jets announced today that rookie punter Ben Graham, an exclusive rights free agent, has agreed to a contract extension with the Club. Terms and length of the agreement were undisclosed.

Graham, 32, is a former Australian Rules Football star, who signed with the Jets as a free agent last off-season and went on to post the second-highest net punting average in team history (37.9) this past season. He recorded 74 punts for 3,233 yards for a 43.7 gross punting average had 18 punts downed inside the 20. Additionally, Graham served as the holder for kicker Mike Nugent.

In addition to extending Graham the team announced the following roster moves:

The Jets have signed the following players to Reserve/Future Contracts: RB Terry Butler, TE Corey Lamkin and WR Jovan Witherspoon. The Jets also announced todaythat they have allocated the following players to NFL Europe: Butler, Witherspoon, G Isaac Snell and T Marko Cavka. The Jets also announced today the signings of the following Exclusive Rights Players: DB D.J.Johnson, C Norm Katnick, G Isaac Snell and WR Dante Ridgeway.
