In a surprising move, the Jets placed veteran WR/KR Tim Dwight on the injured reserve list today.
Dwight, a nine year veteran who was signed as a free agent this past off-season, reportedlty seriously injured his foot at practice this week. He had previously been hobbled earlier in the year by a thigh injury. Rookie WR Wallace Wright was signed from the practice squad to replace Dwight on the active roster.
Look for RB Leon Washington and WR Justin McCareins to be added to the punt return rotation to replace Dwight.
