As reported by Jets Insider.com earlier in the week, the Jets officially announced the signing of former Raiders QB Marques Tuiasosopo.
Tuiasosopo, (6-1, 220) was originally selected by the Oakland Raiders out of the University of Washington in the second round (59th overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft. In six seasons with the Raiders, he appeared in 11 games, making two starts, and completed 48 of 88 attempts for 550 yards and two touchdowns.
The deal he signied is reportedly an one year contract at the veteran minimum salary. He will fill the roster spot of Patrick Ramsey who was released on March 3 and has since signed with Denver.
