The Jets made two roster moves today by announcing hey have signed defensive end Eric Hicks to an undisclosed contract and released defensive lineman Keyonta Marshall.
Hicks originally signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1998 as a rookie free agent out of Maryland. Now entering his 10th season in the NFL, Hicks has appeared in 128 games, while making 104 starts.
In nine seasons with the Chiefs, Hicks has recorded 574 tackles and ranks fifth on the Chiefs all-time sack list with 44.5.
