Jets sign 2nd Round LB David Harris

Jets Insider.com has learned that the team has signed second-round pick LB David Harris.

Harris, (6-2, 243) from Michigan, was the the 47th overall selection in the 2007 NFL Draft. Harris was a second-team All-American as a senior by Sports Illustrated. He was also a semi-finalist for the Butkus Award, given to the nationís top linebacker. Terms of the contract were not known at press time.

With Harris signed the only remaining pick to ink is first round pick CB Darrelle Revis who is expected to be signed by tomorrow.

In other news, veteran G Pete Kendall is expected to report to camp on Friday despite being in a conract dispute with the front office. He's looking for a $1MM raise and has made inuendos that he possibly wouldn't report to camp.
