August 27th, 2007
The Jets annouced they have cut eight players today to get down to the mandatory 75 player limit. The most notable cut was veteran WR/KR Tim Dwight who has been on the PUP list all camp. The emergence of seventh round pick WR Chansi Stuckey who can play WR and return kicks seems to have sealed Dwight's fate.

No big surprises here as the other cuts were as follows:

DE Darrell Adams
DT Zarnell Fitch
RB Tony Hollings
CB Rayshaun Kizer
WR Dante Ridgeway
OL Nick Smith
WR Juan Wong

The NFL mandated that all teams must reduce their roster to 75 by tomorrow. The team will announce their final cuts soon after their last pre-season game on Thursday in Philadelphia.

Be sure to check back to JI later this afternoon for the daily camp report!
