Anthony "The Goose" Ravi and his 5E Tailgating Crew.
Tony “The Goose” Ravi and his crew at section 5E of the Meadowlands parking lot has been in existence for about 7 years after they merged of several different get-togethers. The 5E Crew now is a close knit family-oriented group that consists of 40-50 members who are all die-hard Jets worshippers.

The 5E Crew is our next contestant in the 2008 tailgate challenge.

Besides the Goose, who has been involved since the beginning, the main players in the party are long time Jets fans and consist of the following characters:

Ross”The Cook” James “Grillmaster”
He’s been a season ticket holder since 1969 back when the Jets were at shea.. Originally tailgated in K4, which was Klecko country. Tailgated with Joe Klecko, Marty Lyons and Kyle Clifton. He is one of the founders of what this tailgate is today.

Anne “MOM” Quin
She’s been a fan since 1962 and she has been tailgating at the stadium since 1992 with her four sons, Pat, Mike, Jimmy and John. They came together with Ross about four years ago and met by exchanging food recipes and soon after, started to come together every Sunday. Anne also does a post game Monday morning radio show on WPDH 101.5 out of Hudson Valley. This show is the #1 rated show in the Hudson Valley area. Her and her sons are also founders.

Ron”Coach” Repmann
19 year ticket holder and also has joined the tailgate with his two sons who have also been life long fans. Ron also has been an original.

Pat and Mike Quin
Life long fans and also “Grillmasters”

Craig and Shane Repmann
The Stromboli Kings

Ken “Quarterback”Sarte
42 yr fan who sets it all up

Christine “Shot Girl” Render
Specializes in the Gang Green jello shots..

Eva “JETSGIRL” Maraspin
Who has been a lifelong fan and been part of this tailgate for over 10 years.

The Menu Varies each Game.Pat and Mike Quin have a theme depending on the opponent..Chiefs was “Filet Mignons” and for St.Louis “Rack of Rams”

Craig and Shane specialize in Stromboli’s and have featured different varieties such as the following: Chicken Parm Boli, Pepperoni and Cheese Boli and Sausage and Pepper Boli

To start this is usually the lineup: Veggie platter, antipasto platter, quiche, chicken tenders, scallops with bacon.

Followed by main courses such as: London Broils in special sauce, Sausage and Peppers Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, Keilbasi and Sauerkraut and dishes featured from the “Theme of The Day” (Depends on Opponent).

The food is obviously accompanied by many tasty adult beverages and the best green Jello Shots in the stadium lot!

The Goose feels his Tailgate is special because they have a variety of people with all kinds of different backgrounds and who each person started out with there own personal Tailgate but, have all come together behind the “TheVeterans” for one common goal and that is to have fun and see the JETS succeed.. Our Tailgate is definitely one of the best because we have a family oriented environment. We know how to have a good time and make the most of it every home game.

Come visit us at 5E and look for us .. Looking forward to see you.
