Jets make some roster moves
June 3rd, 2003
The Jets made two roster moves today by signing a WR and waiving a TE. Jets Insider.com has learned that the New York Jets have signed free agent wide receiver Will Glover and waived tight end Jason Thomas. The announcements were made by Jets General Manager Terry Bradway.

Glover, a 5-10, 185-pound rookie free agent receiver from Georgia Tech finished his career as the fourth-leading receiver in Georgia Tech history with 122 career receptions.

The Jets also announced that rookie free agent tight end Jason Thomas was waived. Thomas, a 6-4, 241-pound product of Nevada-Las Vegas was a QB in college and signed by the Jets as a rookie free agent on May 2, 2003. Thomas attempted to switch from a collegiate passer to a tight end on the NFL level.
