Christopher Nimbley
Editor In Chief
Chris was born and raised, mostly, in Northern New Jersey surrounded by Giants fans with just a few Jets fans sprinkled around him. He has loved sports since his tee-ball - kick the can and manhunt days. As a kid and young adult Chris spent the overwhelming majority of his time playing sports, whether organized team sports or backyard football with his friends. Once Chris' athletic ability plateaued he slowly moved from playing sports to becoming a spectator and a fan of sports.

After graduating with an Associates degree from Dean University in Massachusetts, Chris went on to work as an architect for five years. After years of doing the same thing he found himself stuck in a rut and bored with work, it seemed like all he did at work was read articles online about sports, then one day it hit him. Chris loves to write, loves sports (but loves football most of all) and he realized he could use his sarcastic wit to go along with his love and knowledge of the game to do what he truly enjoys. To write and to watch, absorb and analyze football. So he quit his job as an architect and went back to college to study communications with a minor in journalism at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.

Chris started at JI as a staff writer in 2009 and has since moved up the ranks to his current position as Managing Editor. He oversees all the daily content on the site and also continues to report and cover the team.

Chris is single and still lives in northern NJ, not too far from the Jets facility.

At heart, Correy is just a humble small town kid from Jersey. He is an avid sports fan and can talk to someone for hours about any major sport. Jeremy Epstein
Staff Writer
Jeremy has always been an avid sports fan from time he was little. He was always involved in sports from local pick up basketball games, to backyard football and Little League baseball. He also spent many summer days going to Jets practices during Training Camp while they were at Hofstra.

As Jeremy entered college, he began the transition from sports athlete to sports journalist. He joined Hofstra Universities critically acclaimed radio station WRHU and almost immediately became involved with the sports department.

Some might recognize Jeremy’s name and face from the 2012 Town Hall Presidential Debate where he asked the first question to Republican Nominee Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama. Since then, he has appeared on hard news programs like The Kelly File, The Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd and Piers Morgan Tonight. Day time talk shows like Anderson Cooper’s Anderson Live and Katie Couric’s "Katie". But most notably, Jeremy was parodied by Fred Armisen on the iconic Saturday Night Live.

In addition to working at WRHU, Jeremy spent the spring working at Fox News Radio. He is looking forward to transitioning from the political news back to his first love, sports.

A journalism major with a minor in political science at Hofstra University, Jeremy lives on Long Island and is a strong fan of the New York Knicks, New York Yankees and The New England Patriots… Just kidding could you imagine? Go Jets

Ariel August
Contributing Writer
Ariel was born on Veterans Day in Rochester, NY. Early in life, he discovered his love for sports when he picked up a golf club at the age of 8. When he was only 11 years old, he became the youngest golfer at Irondequoit Country Club to ever record a hole-in-one. Growing up he played many sports including football, basketball, soccer and golf.

During his junior year as a student Hofstra University, Ari realized his passion for writing. From there he began writing articles in the sports section of the Hofstra Chronicle

Ari has worked with professional sports teams in Rochester, such as the Redwings and Lancers. He also writes for his own blog: Even though he is passionate for a wide variety of sports, football is still his favorite to watch, analyze, and write about. As an upstater Ari is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Syracuse Orange basketball team. Even though Ari is a Bills fan, he’s grown fond of the Jets, especially now that they have one of his favorite running backs to watch: Chris Johnson. Sports resonate deep within Ari and he enjoys the challenge of gathering and organizing his thoughts to give his readers an in-depth and engaging experience. His goal is to one day become a sport broadcaster or NFL analyst.
