We better sign a veteran soon. Doubt we will be able to now.

Saints notebook: McAllister's injury not serious

    Sunday, 5:26 p.m.

    By Brian Allee-Walsh
    Staff writer

GREEN BAY, WIS. - Saints running back Deuce McAllister’s injury added to the insult of Sunday’s embarrassing 52-3 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
McAllister limped off the field with approximately seven minutes remaining in the third quarter after twisting his right knee at the end of a screen pass.
X-rays taken at the stadium were negative and an MRI is scheduled Monday in San Antonio.
“I’ll be all right,’’ said McAllister, who rushed 11 times for 36 yards. “My foot got caught in the ground and I felt something in my knee. If it had been a closer game I think I could have put a brace on it and gone out and played.
“If I had to play a game tomorrow I’d probably be questionable. But I plan to play Sunday unless it’s something worse than it already is.

With Blalock out the Jets are going to have to bring in a veteran RB. I am just saying with McAllister gone, they are not the only ones looking for a RB now. That is it.

Trust me McAllister done for season.
