If Herm cuts the cheese and skips town, who would be our options for head coach?

Maybe Weiss could be lured out of Notre Dame?

How about the great young talent of Eric Mangini.

The guy has a knack for getting superb execution from any players he puts on the field.

As much as i would love that, not happeneing, they just signed him for a trillion years, besides i think he wants a champion ship with ND before he skips out on his contract early, if in fact he does that, in the "newly wed" stage of his relationship with the Irish, not going to happen

WTF. The Pats defense stinks this season and, of course, a displaced Pats fan who has thousands of posts on another team's fansite thinks Mangini is great. What has Mangini done that Donnie Henderson hasn't done?

    Donnie Ball

Herm should not take the fall for the poor year. The GM and front office got to be responsible for having giving up offensive lineman year after year and knowing that he had a QB coming off shoulder surgery. The Parcels era left us with an outstanding line and every year since he bolted we lost at least one lineman every year including one of the best o-line coaches. If Herm takes the blame then Donnie ball got to be the call.

I wouldn't mind getting Mariucci, there's a good chance he might be ousted or want out of Detroit after this year too.
