JETS SIGN LB JAMAR ENZOR TO PRACTICE SQUAD AND RELEASE T DREW STROJNY

New York City – The New York Jets announced today the signing of linebacker Jamar Enzor to the practice squad and the release of tackle Drew Strojny from the practice squad. The announcements were made by Jets’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Terry Bradway.

Enzor, a 6-1, 237-pound two-year starter for Cincinnati finished third on the Bearcats with 73 tackles and three sacks his senior year. Enzor was signed as a rookie free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars on April 24, 2005 and was waived on August 12, 2005.

Strojny, a 6-7, 327-pound product of Duke University started 43-of-46 career games at left tackle for the Blue Devils. Strojny was released on August 27, 2005 by the Philadelphia Eagles after he spent the entire 2004 season on their practice squad. Strojny was originally selected in the seventh-round of the 2004 NFL Draft with the 203rd selection overall by the New York Giants before being released on final cut-downs.
