I think that would be a great trade for the Jets...

2 #2's and a former 1st round RB thats still young and has upside...Duckett would at the very least give us a nice goaline threat and short yardage back...

2 2nd rounders and Duckett and im a very happy man.

I don't know. That one guy thinks it's a 2 this year and a 1 next year plus a pile of ice that could be Duckett.

If we get a #2 this year and #1 next year its still a very very good trade for the Jets...

We were happy with the second to last pick in the 1st round this season(31)..So a #1 and #2 is a no brainer..

    That's pretty good...

The Jets would have 12 picks -- most in the draft, but even more importantly they would have 2 in each of the 2,3 and 4th rounds. That's a lot of prime meat. A first next year would give us great leverage. With Duckett, that's a good trade, IMHO.

I think it's plausible. The Belli?Parcells collective loves to stockpile future draft pick.

I can see Mangini doing it this way. Not too bad. I like Duckett. Get him with a trainer and trim down and he could be a menace. He is a nice change-up to the RB's we have now.

Here is another guy and his two cents on this rumor:

I do not have a link but my uncle works for the ATL Journ. Const. and I asked if he had any info not yet released and he said that the Falcons and the Jets have agreed to trade 2006 2nd Rd., 2007 2nd Rd. and a player to be named later for Abraham.

Those guys are going nuts over there... if it's true then I'm ok with it...I guess... that's just too many RBs...

    Curtis
    Ducket
    Blalock
    Cedric

What the hell you do with all that?

I don't have a link either, but I know this guy that posts on a message board that has an uncle that works for an Atl paper and he reads another message board and then lets it slip to his nephew that a trade is done for this years 2nd next years 2nd and some other player that will be named later.

    I have a reliable source.

If only I had a nickle...

I want to get a 1st rounder or Matt Schaub for him. It can be next years first rounder, but Abraham is worth a lot. I'd also have no problem keeping him and trading him next year.
