Are we interested in Troy BRown?

Someone posts these clips from different papers on another board, and one said that the Jets showed interest in Troy Brown.

    What do you guys think?

Not now that Tim Dwight is on board.

Coles, J-Mac, Dwight and Cotchery is a pretty good receiver group.

I wouldn't go that far... I'd call it average at BEST!

I don't see a tall possetion red zone threat in there...unless we pickup a good TE out of nowhere.

Unless we're going to sign a premire WR with a huge deap threat I think we're pretty set at WR with the Dwight signing.

I don't think we are. We got Coles, J-Mac, and Tim Dwight. We also got Jerrico developing to a good WR. We don't need him. According to KFFL, hes very close to re-signing with the Pats.

    Coles 5'11
    Dwight 5'8
    McCareins 6'2
    Cotchery 6'0

    Brown 5'10

I would say if anything we get a tall, endzone threat WR but I think we are good with what we have.

Good, I really didn't want him... it was more of a "I hope we don't get this guy, cause I don't see the point" type post.

I'm sure because why would the Jets want a guy that actually catches the football.

Why would we want him? We have plenty of people who could fumble a punt in a big spot.

I'm interested in the girl who works at the local Starbucks. Troy Brown? Not so much.

I just don't see the need for him in our lineup. We've got two short recievers. Dwight is a fast one and Coles is the possetion one... I think we need a tall red zone threat not another chrebet.
