I'm pretty sure Whitehurst is projected to go in the 3rd round. That comp pick would be the last pick on the first day.

    Only one OLmen?

The Jets will be 4-12 again, and both Chad and Ramsey will be on IR.

The major problem with the team last season, after losing 2 QB's was OL.

If that isn't addressed early, and several times, expect more of the same.

Winston would be the steal of the draft

All five have great upside, would prefer Mangold to Marony at 29 but really like Whitehurst with the last pick on day 1,

my thoughts exactly, I think #29 is the pivotal pick. we have to get a day 1 starter here, not curtis' jock holder. even tuna couldn't stop calling #28 over and over and over, so why do we think a rookie HC is going to take the ball away from a guy who never misses a game, and never fumbles ?

If we walk away from the first day of the draft with Williams, Mangold, and Winston I would be one happy camper. We would improve our line on both sides of the ball dramatically. We have to on offense, there is no other option.

I wouldn't be surprised if they snuck one of the available tackles in free agency. Also there's alot of depth at O-line available the next day. Even ol' ugly Toledo. I think I want that guy to be a jet.

    saints will pick mario williams

the saints signed will draft mario williams.so there goes the picks by nfl blitz.as far as maroney goes ,he has a history of injuries so I think that the jets will go with either carpenter or mangold at 29.winston is a good pick at 35.
