As long as Chad is a Jet there will be a large contingent of Jet fans who say he will return to the pre-injury Chad.
Once were in full swing this season, several people here are gonna look like idiots. Either the "Pennington will return and be great" group is gonna look dumb, or the "Pennington cant return from his injuries" group is gonna look dumb. My question is, when 1 side is proven to be true, how is the other side gonna react? Just asking lol....i just wanna wait and see how hes gonna do before i make a pre-judgement on the whole thing..

Not me, I know just as much as everyone else that this is Chad's last chance and rightfully so.
If he can't perform up to par or gets injured again then he should be cut after the season, no questions asked.
Then start a thread and have people go on record. I believe the Jets will be well under a .500 team this year and that this will be Penningtons last year with the Jets. If I a wrong than I am ready to eat crow.
I'd rather have half of us look like idiots as opposed to everyone waiting around to see what happens. That would make for a pretty boring message board.

Pennington doens't matter anymore.
He's no longer the future or the franchise as a lot of Jets fans hoped.
For him to even be on the roster next year is a long shot. He has to wow everyone this year or else he'll be a backup on another team.
Think about it. If he comes back and throws 16 TD passes and 10 Ints leading us to an 7-9 season will you say "HE'S BACK! Lets re-up that contract and give him the next 3 years!" or "Thanks Chad for holding it down for a season but Kellen Clemens is the future and Patrick Ramsey is his backup, I'm sure you'll find another team."
Most likely you will want to show Chad the door politely and move on.
It' starting to get on my nerves too.
The "pre-injury" PennyBoyWonder was not that good to begin with.

I say that he'll come back and play efficiently, but will get hurt again. If he goes 2 full seasons without missing significant time then I'll be amazed. Coming back isn't the issue, staying healthy is...
