Results for the Season - Pick em'...

So in light of some new developments (last nights Dolphins game mainly)...what games do we win this year and why?

@ Tennessee- Win; Chad looks awesome in the season opener and the O-Line owns the Titans D-Line. 1-0

New England Patriots- Loss; Brady and co. are a little too much early in the season. 1-1

@ Buffalo- Win; I think we outcoach, outplay, and have more talent. 2-1

Indianapolis- Loss; Too much. Peyton picks us apart. 2-2

@ Jacksonville- Loss; As much as I think we can win this game, I think it's a little unrealistic given the beating we will have taken from the Colts the week before, and it's an away game. 2-3

Miami- Win; We get back on track with this one shutting down Daunte and company...Vilma and co. rip the Dolphins o-line... 3-3

Detroit- Win; Home game against Detroit. If we don't win I'll jump off the Brooklyn Bridge. 4-3

@ Cleveland- Loss; Still concerned about our ability to perform in environments like Cleveland. 4-4

@ New England Patriots- Loss; See above. 4-5

Chicago Bears- Win; We squeak this one out in an EXTREMELY low scoring game. 5-5

Houston Texans- Win; Should be easiest game all year. 6-5

@ Green Bay- Win; I have to believe the Packers are as bad, if not worse, than they were last year. 7-5

Buffalo Bills- Win; Four game win streak has us thinking playoffs...8-5

    @ Minnesota Vikings- Win; On a roll...9-5

@ Miami Dolphins- Loss; Split with the Dolphins as they get better as the season progresses. 9-6

Oakland Raiders- Loss; The finish off a playoff run with us as Moss has a field day in the secondary. 9-7

With that being said, 9-7 and possible Wildcard is a huge possibility, IF we play up to our potential.

You make a good point. Who's to say NE doesn't have some bad luck this year?
    It could happen.

The raiders are the worst team in the NFL, theres no way we lose to Aaron brooks and co.They are crappier than Houston.

Not bad. I think we sweep the fins and go 10-6 and get a playoff wildcard spot. If the Patsies falter, look out, we will possibly win the division. This is going to be a dogfight this year. The Patsies and us will be hammering each other for the division crown, while the Dullards and Jills hammer each other for the basement crown.

God, I am glas that we have Mangini.

Jets beat three teams who think they can mail it in. Thats it. 3-13. I'm just looking for o-line and a qb to establish themselves. Just hoping for improvement.
Anyone who thinks a team with the league's worst quarterback and running back situations is nuts.

    3-13 would mean no improvement.

We lose to the Bills at home but beat the Dolphins on the road?

Timmy that would involve us having the worst Quarterback and Runningback in the league...which...we don't. Maybe not the best, but certainly not the worst.

If the season in the original post played out in reality, it would be a nightmare season. Losing at home vs. OAK to not make the playoffs would be devastating.

    My prediction is still 5-11.

Who has a worse rb situation? Assuming Martin doesn't play a lot.

I guess if Chad is playing we're not dead last. In the bottom third though.
If he goes down we are dead last until Kellen develops.

How about Chester Taylor starting in Minnesota with no one behind him. That's pretty damn bad.

It would not shock me if we win the away Bills game and the game against the Bears at home.

I don't have any psychic abilities.

I just hope Mangini can turn the team around like Parcells did.

We are not even close to having the leagues worst QB situation. You have a Healthy Chad Pennington playing right now.

I'm including his history of going down. We have an injury prone starter and Ramsey and Bolly backing him up.
