    ESPN.COM Power Rankings

    NY Jets 22 (Last week - 23) Jets 1-1-0

'Eric Mangini is never going to be happy with a loss, but the Jets showed a lot of fight against the Patriots, which is a good sign for a team with a new coach.'

I really find it hilarious that the Chiefs are this bad. From playoff contender/offensive powerhouse to anemic bottom rung team in one season.

Gotta feel for Chiefs fans, god speed, you've got a long road ahead of you.

    "Brain"

I could while away the hours, conferrin' with the flowers
    Consultin' with the rain.
And my head I'd be scratchin' while
    my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel every riddle for any individ'le,
    In trouble or in pain.
With the thoughts you'll be thinkin'
    you could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain.
Oh, I could tell you why The ocean's near the shore.
I could think of things I never thunk before.
And then I'd sit, and think some more.
I would not be just a nothin' my head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry, life would be a ding-a-derry,
If I only had a brain.

I really don't think Indy should be ranked #1.

I dissagree, they really didn't make any signifigant upgrades in any areas over the offseason. Peyton looks spectacular, but some of those other teams below them have looked better as a whole IMO.

#1 could be a toss-up between Baltimore, Chicago and San Diego in my opinion.

    Jacksonville is a contender too.

Yup. Cincinatti deserves mention as well, and after next week Jacksonville could very well be right up there.

Atlanta's the curve ball, I need to see Vick do this for a longer period before I believe he'll get it done.

Warrick Dunn or Vick is going to get hurt as some point this season and Atlanta will nose dive as they always do.

When we beat them we'll be ranked above them. I guess we have a lot to prove yet.

Baltimore?!?! Are you serious? Don't let that 28-6 score fool you, the offense struggled all day on a short field against Oakland, and people are complaining about McNair already. Their D, of course, is legit though.
