    Remaining Games and Record

8 Sun, Oct 29 at Cleveland
    9 BYE WEEK
10 Sun, Nov 12 at New England
    11 Sun, Nov 19 Chicago
    12 Sun, Nov 26 Houston
13 Sun, Dec 3 at Green Bay
    14 Sun, Dec 10 Buffalo
15 Sun, Dec 17 at Minnesota
16 Mon, Dec 25 at Miami
    17 Sun, Dec 31 Oakland

With the benefit of doubt the Jets remaining schedule is a little weak, BUT we can easily lose to almost every team left with the exception of Oakland.
Sunday's game with Cleveland for me is the most important game of the season because it puts us two games over .500 and allows us breathing room in anticipation of very tuff games with NE and Chicago. I think we play NE tougher than most will think, but I'm not confident that we will win either the NE or Chicago game. With that in mind, this is my prediction for the rest of the season.

Cleveland - W - Close game won with the passing game. 5-3
NE - L - This is close game in terms of score but NE wins. 5-4
Chicago - W - We win with long ball - a couple of plays on special teams 6-4
Houston - L - We lose a tuff and close game, AJ kills us. 6-5
GB - W - We win easily, but a high scoring affair. 7-5
Buffalo - W - They run all over us, but we win 8-5
Minn - L - They are the most complete team in the league, not close 8-6
    Miami - L - They get lucky with trick plays - 8-7
Oakland -W - Were fighting for our playoff lives, we win and were in. 9-7

9-7 is a great year considering no C-Mart and a previous 4-12 record. I like the idea of getting to the playoffs the first year, but dont expect wins as our D-line needs drastic improving and so does our pass rush. Playoffs are all about who is able to run and stop the run. While we improve the offseason will be spent upgrading the D-line and DB's. Very Successful year!

This may very well be the craziest thing I have heard all year...

We are guaranteed to be either 9-7 or 10-6. There will be one game we pull out that we're not expected to....and another we'll likely lose that we should win. It will come down to the final weeks of the season for sure.
