    Jake Plummer on the Jets

I think the Broncos definitely change directions next year..

Plummer will screw up in the playoffs as usual, and the Cutler era wil begin in Denver...

That being said, I like Jake Plummer and think he could be a good stop gap option...

I know you guys all think Clemens is the future, but lets face it... The guy is the third string this year behind Chad Pennington and Patrick Ramsey, do you really think he will be ready to take over next year? I don't..

Plummer isn't perfrect, but our staff should know how to manage a QB with limitations(Plummers brain), and he could have a season like he did in '05 in '07..

    Sign Plummer

Clemens is listed as 2nd string, first of all.

    Second of all, DUMP

No thanks, he's been worse than Pennington this season on a team with more talent on offense. Been inconsistent throughout his career. No reason at all to sign him

That's a good point. Still disagree that signing Plummer could possibly help this team but if you find a good match of OC (Shottenheimer) and a QB like Plummer then maybe it works.

I don't see why it's such a bad idea. But didn't Denver just give him a big contract? I think it'd be tough to just cut him. If not, it's really not that bad of an idea if Mangini thinks Clemens could use a little more time, but then again it's just an idea.

These are you words........Plummer will screw up in the playoffs as usual...we have a stop gap guy already with Pennington and I'll take him over Jake the Fake in a heartbeat.

    Pennington IS the Stop-Gap.

    Clemens IS the Future.

Going after Plummer would serve no purpose.

Plummer is terrible. Hell be lucky to finish the season out as Broncos QB.

Jake does have all the physical tools but you need a brain to run our offense and he just does not have one of them
