    thanksgiving game

    i think its time for the nfl to start alternating sites for the games , i am sick of watching detroit get blown out every year.

    It's a 67 year tradition, I believe. Hard to break that kind of a traditon. Who knows maybe the Lions will actually be good...soon...right after that...eventually.

    they should at least alternate the teams better that play detroit and dallas it seems like miami and denver always get on. i think the last time the jets were on against detroit was 1986 does anyone know for sure. i know we lost that game.

    It was 1985 and yeah we lost.

    just looked it up we lost 31-20 , we also lost in 1972, thanks

    My problem has less to do with Detroit and more to do with having too much football these days.

    Shortly, we'll have Saturday games, the Sunday gamut, the Sunday Night Football contests, and Thursday games. I love the NFL as much as the next guy, but it's overkill right now. Used to be 2 special days a week. Now it's 4. I can't stomach more than 2 games a day.......I'm not alone.

    I hat the Saturday games. Yeah, I think they should cut it down alittle.

    The Thanksgiving games should be left alone. I know ratings etc are important to the NFL, but tradition also has value.
