    Two words as to why he'll never be a Jet.

    1.Laverneous

    2. Coles

    Remember how he stabbed Coles in the back in college and let him go down for the shoplifting scandle. Warrick goes #4 overall and Coles slipped all the way down to the 3rd round. And we all know how Laverneous has a short memory and never holds on to slights

    let him go down???

    come on dude that had nothing to do with Warrick taht was Bobby Bowden's punk ass, fast forward a few years and see that he made a bad choice between the 2 guys....still not sure about his relationship with the dude, but I wouldnt say Pete stabbed him

    Dwight was brought here to return punts..Now that hes gone it has me a little nervous..He didn't have huge yards as a returner but more importantly he held onto the ball..

    Do we bring someone in or stick someone on the roster already back there?? Punt returner is not like returning kicks, you cant just stick anyone back there..I think we should see who is out there and bring someone in..Thats why Peter Warrick came to mind..

    I hear you but I'm just going by Coles's perception, skewed or not. LC stated numerous times in not so subtle ways that he got the last laugh by succeeding in the NFL when Warrick was failing.

    Misdirected or not Coles felt slighted (by Warrick) that he was suspended for a few games while Warrick got a slap on the wrist.

    Its kinda like Coles' demand for more money when the Jets re-traded him for Santana. Coles got paid huge by the Skins but coming back to the Jets he wanted more money from the Jets. He wanted the Jets to show appreciation for him by opening their wallets like they didn't do when they let Washington sign him.

    This is the world Coles lives in so you can just about guarantee that Warrick is not welcome.

    Put the Warrick/Coles situation aside for a moment and focus on this:

    Warrick is a bum. He's terrible. He washed out of the NFL. He got dumped by the Bengals and picked up elsewhere, where he washed out. I'd rather see someone from our own practice squad fill the space on the roster.

    Leon can run back punts. So can Brad Smith or (dare I say it) Justin Miller. Ok, maybe not Miller.
