Can we stop with the "playoff scenario" talk?

If the season ended today the JETS would be in the playoffs.

Therefore, THERE IS NO REASON TO DISCUSS PLAYOFF SCENARIOS!!!!

The only thing that needs to be discussed is the game on Sunday/Monday. If we win that one - we're going to the playoffs. That's the only scenario that counts. Win and we're in. Simple.

If you're still worried about playoff scenarios - go over to the Broncos or Jags board. They are the one's that need to be worried about scenarios.

BTW - Holy crap. Can you believe this team now controls it's own destiny???

It is concievable that we go 11-5 and NOT make the playoffs so this thread is utter nonsense.

I could tell you that scenario, but apparently you know it all already.

We dont control our own destiny yet. We are only the 6 seed because KC remains tied with Denver. If KC lost next week, while Denver, Cincy, Jacksonville all won we would drop from seed 6 to 8 despite winning our game. Once Jacksonville loses or both Denver and Cincinnati lose we will control our own destiny. Until then we could actually win out and miss the playoffs with 11 wins.

    Sure

If Denver or Cincy and Jax goes 11-5.

Since Denver plays Cincy only one of them can go 11-5.

    Stop the Madness!!!

I violently agree!!! Stop the nonsense and lets que up each game one at a time. I don't know about anyone else on this board, but I would have told you that you were full of feces if someone suggested we would win 7 to 9 games this year... but here we are.

Not only do we have 7 wins, but sans the Jax game we were in every one of the loses AND in a position to win them. This team is playing consistent, aggressive, opportunistic football and I for one could not be happier.

If we make the playoffs, that is great and I will drop a turd right where I stand. Otherwise, I am a happy fan of what is finally a GOOD team moving to a BETTER THAN AVERAGE team in a hurry.

    Wait a minute. I'm confused.

Who do we play in Round 1? Or do we have a bye?

Just wondering if anyone on this board is actually playing in the games?

Because, while I don't want any PLAYERS looking past the next game, I'm pretty sure fans looking ahead won't have ANY effect on any games outcome.

I am actually NOT playing it one game at a time (because I'm not PLAYING!)

I thought that's what fan forums were for? But I could be wrong.

Are we allowed to look forward to (and godforbid discuss) next years draft?
