Great news for Rutgers, NJ, Schiano and sports. Honor is not readily found and practiced. Schiano is a class act and a man of his word.

I certainly hope this puts it to rest, for now.
I read the Palm Beach Post this morning regarding UM/Schiano & my first thought was 'He has been blowing smoke these last few weeks. he is NO better than all the other BS Artists who deny interest...'
I am glad I was wrong.
Honor & commitment, for a change!!

He has an extension but there's a buyout clause regardless. Good chance he's getting a big raise in the near future though.

Goes to show you, there are still some people left in this world with class...he didn't take the money.

Hey, whoever takes this Canes job is going to have his hands full...this isn't the 80's and 90's where they had recruits knocking down the door.

By the way, the only people who have said Shiano would go to Penn St are writers, and they're the same writers that said he'd definitely be headed to Miami next year.

Sometimes a man's character outweighs speculation from the media. Enough already, the guy's here for the long term. Deal with it.
