    jet fans - adorable

It's really cute to watch you guys get so excited about the slightest positive national exposure and some solid work by Mangini, Penny and Rhodes, etc... Congrats on making it into the light. Good luck.

it makes us happy because we know we earned it. how do we know this? well we know this because we play in new york, the biggest media market in the world, and still get no recognition. which means in order to get proper coverage that we should just be getting on a normal circumstance, we actually have to do something worth covering. the fact that the jets are in the thick of things is a testament to the improvement mangini has instilled into this team.

    It's a PATS FAN......it must be VASELINE!

    * He has been quite "level-headed", odd for a Pats fan. But I like his positive thinking.

Mangini has done a great job with the jets. I think the fact you're in the NY media market makes it EASIER for you to "earn coverage," so on that point I don't agree with you.

I have to admit, this is a pretty funny post. It really DOES get ridiculous around here pretty quick....just look at some the threads today, and compare them to two weeks ago.

    Pats Fans=Pitiful

They troll on the message boards of other teams and take pleasure in p!ssing on our parade.

They take greater pleasure in seeing the Jets lose than in seeing their own team win.

They just can't get over the fact that they live in a second-rate city that completely shuts down at 1:00 am.

They harbor a bitter, lingering resentment because, no matter how hard they try, they just can't get a decent pizza.

Cheer up. Take comfort in the fact that you have some of the best chowdah anywhere.

Have fun jerking off to computer porn in your mothers basement like all the other trolls on this board. I'm sure you only go on jetsinsider to piss people off when you need to "reload" inbetween jerk off sessions

Seems like more and more Patriot fans are jumping on our case for getting psyched for the playoffs. I guess they are just not ready to relive Sunday, November 12. It's understandable though... nobody wants to see a dynasty crumble (except us).

    Absolutely not true about pizza,
    plenty of Italians up there,
Santarpio's (E. Boston) has one of the best pies in the entire planet.

I think that statement would be true for Long Islanders though....

I don't claim to be an authority on the subject but in the four years I went to school up there I could not find a decent pizza and that includes the North End. I want to make it clear that that deep dish sh!t doesn't count, since that is not really pizza.

But, who knows, may Santarpio's is owned by transplanted New Yorkers, and maybe they are even Jets fans (oh, the horror). That would make sense and would be just one more reason for you Chowds to hate us.

In a sense, I can't help but agree with Patsox, but you have to admit that this team has been playing beyond expectations for most of the year and we are better than we are supposed to be. Include that fact that most reporters are too proud to admit they were wrong, they won't praise the team too much. While any loss will make fans hate the entire team and their own means of existence, the opposite happens when we win a game where we dominate a team from start to finish. Most of the younger fans believe the team will then go on to win the final prize.

No I am not a chowd, but I went to (undergrad )college at BU.

Not Chicago style, just classic, thin crust, delicious pies.

Not far from the E Boston side of the Callahan/Sumner tunnels.

    Also, outstanding BBQ lamb kebabs.

I am sorry I did not find it back in the day, though.

    Its been around for years

Thats too bad, I cant imagine how anyone could live on bad college pizza, where did you go to school exactly. Some schools were more blessed than others pizza-wise.

Yes, there are Italians who live in other parts of the Northeast, (Elizabeth NJ, New Haven, Trenton, Phillly, Hartford, Providence RI)
who make and enjoy pizza as good as the best of NY.

Nothing to do with what teams they like.

you've obviously never been to the good pizza places on the island then. yes, the city has the best pizza in the world, but the island, in my opinion anyway, has the second best pizza out there.

You Red Sux fans invented the word "cute" when you won your only WS in your lifetime...take it to the bank, you won't see another.
