    OT: New Jersey tuition question

I have a question. I was at the WVU-Rutgers game Saturday and overheard a couple of students behind me talking and saying that there were a lot of Rutgers fans in the student section because so many of the WVU students are from New Jersey. One of them said that nearly 1/4 of WVU students are from New Jersey due to the low cost of out-of-state tuition in West Virginia compared to in-state tuition in New Jersey. Is this true and how much more is the difference? Also, since there are more than a few New Jersey natives on the board, did any of you attend WVU or another West Virginia college because of this? Just curious.

I think most of Rutgers' tuition for NJ residents depends on your SAT score. They also have rolling admissions, so your acceptance depends on when you apply. I know quite a few people who have gotten huge scholarships to Rutgers and TCNJ.

Was just curious, I thought the 1/4 of student body was way high.
