Stop With All The Talk Of The Off-season!

Yes, I know the Jets just had a huge lose which might keep them out of the playoffs, but THEY ARE NOT FINISHED!

THIS IS THE NFL ANYONE CAN WIN AT ANYTIME!

Who would have thought that the Phins would beat the Pats, or that the Jags beat the Colts.

THE JETS CAN STILL MAKE A RUN FOR THE POST SEASON!

Also the NFL season is something I look forward to for the 7 months a year it is not going on, I am NOT going to be giving up on it with 3 weeks to go, until the Jets become ELIMINATED from playoff contention how about we stop with talks of what to do in the OFF SEASON, it is still the REGULAR SEASON.

It is the nature of message boards to discuss all matters at any given time.

Don't you know that the majority of this board has given up on the season. 100 threads on who's the next QB tell you this season is over.

Well then most of this board is full of ship jumpers!

I hate to be the all time optimist, but its the facts that prove my point, if we win out, then we are almost garenteed a play off birth, because when I look at the others schedules I cansee at least 1 lose in them!

You have every right to be an optimist. The Jets had their butts handed to them yesterday but I think they will bounce back with a fine performance next week at Minnesota.

I think their postseason chances will come down top beating Miami in Miami. It's been done before, it can be done again. However it will be a tough task to win there.

If they win out they finish 10-6. Cincinnati has road games at Indy and Denver which are tough places to win then come home against Pittsburgh who might be hitting their best stride. They'll be hard pressed to two out of those three.

Jacksonville has a the tie breaker on us, but they are a different team away from home. They play against the improving Titans and Kansas City on the road and have the Patriots. Three tough games and one that where Jets fans might be Patriots fans for a few hours.

The Jets must win out and if they do I think things will work out in their favor.

Pennington is far too inconsistent for us to win out.

I thought it was premature then and I know it was premature now.

Xmas night is the biggest game for the NYJ since the Pittsburgh game in January 2005.
