Who is the one player you would love to see the Jets draft? Here is mine...

Assuming that the Jets would be picking somewhere in the number 20 area, what player would you like to see them take first?

I want a stud RB. Last year we went with upgrading the O-Line. Now I want to see a gamebreaker running through those holes plowed by the line. We need to get Adrian Peterson. If we trade our first rounder, one of our second rounders, and a late round pick, we could put ourselves in position to take him around pick 10.

Now if he is snatched up within the first 5 picks or so, this becomes moot, but if he is still around as the 8th, 9th, and 10th picks approach, Tannenbaum needs to find a way to put this guy in green and white.

Leon Washington would be used as a change of pace back and would be a great compliment to Peterson. Cedric...eh...to me he just doesn't have that game-changing ability that is necessary at RB.

At 20 Marshawn Lynch is he's available.

If not then then Adam Carriker

In that case I might not go for Alan. if he doesn't come out, then I'm busted!

But in an ideal world, Alan Branch, all the way.

Changes are allowed if your boy is a JR and he stays

If there's one player I want it's definitely Alan Branch.

the 1st and both 2nds would have to go to have a shot at peterson. maybe not all three at once, but the jets would AT LEAST have to trade the two 2nd rounders to get into the 1st round and then trade both 1sts for peterson. (after he is drafted of course).

i rather keep 2 out of our first three picks and get Mike Turner.

Love Blalock, but from a sentimental aspect I'd probably like to see Leonard more than Blalock in green and white.

Let me make that clear that has nothing to do with BAP strategy, team need, or the fact that he's a FB. I'd just like to continue watching the guy on my favorite team.

Brady Quinn would be nice as well, but that's probably not happening. In fact, here's my list of players I'd like to see on the Jets. And this is not a BAP board or anything, just guys I'd like to see in green.

    1. Brian Leonard
    2. Brady Quinn
    3. Justin Blalock
    4. Calvin Johnson
    5. Marshawn Lynch

For the first round here's my dream list for now, depending on Free Agency, Workouts, and who declares I will modify this list before the draft, obviously I take the top player listed still available.

    - Alan Branch
    - Darrell Revis
    - Justin Blaylock
    - Marshawn Lynch
    - Reggie Nelson
    - LaMar Woodley
    - Daymeion Hughes
    - Michael Bush
    - Adam Carriker
    - Levi Brown

If any of those players are still available in the second round, which I doubt, but you never know since the Redskins pick is early second, id pick from there again. But assumeing there isn't then id look into players like

    - Brian Leonard
    - Aaron Sears
    - Josh Beekman
    -

Got to agree with CBNY here.

Its damn near impossible that we actually draft him, but hell, out of anyone in college football now, I think he would help us the most.

Chad Pennington is playing solid football, but Quinn, given time to adjust to the NFL behind Chad for a year or two, could be a top 5 NFL QB.

Am I the only one who really wants a shutdown CB, perhaps Marcus McCauley?

I think the thing with most Jet fans is Mangini has such a good history with mid-round CB's they don't think it's too much of an issue. Personally, I can do without a corner in round 1 unless it's a Deangelo Hall/Champ Bailey type.
