Which Young QB would you take

Forget the Chad stuff for a moment, if your starting a team now, which young QB would you take today out of the high profile guys drafted in the last 3 drafts..

I'd go Cutler followed closely by Rivers...

I doubt Carson Palmer counts so I go with:

Roethlisberger closely followed by Vince Young.

    how young is young ?

the NFL has evolved into a speed game, even for QB's. immobile dinosaurs like brad johnson, bledsoe and vinny are no longer feasible

strong arms are nice, but not the priority compared to the brains needed in todays nfl

so I'm looking foir a smart guy with mobility

I'd vote for brees or romo

    Big Ben

Look at the Losman thread for an explanation.

Cutler hasn't played nearly enough to say.

VY has shown the most promise of the rookies IMO.

He has and I like him, even before the draft..

Running QB's always get hurt and then are a lot less dangerous though...

    BTW Chan:

Great poll/thread. But, the public poll would have made it even that much better.

    Ikey:

Looks like we're all by ourselves in regards to Ben.

I screwed up...I guess it's an option on the poll page that I missed. I was too busy trying to figure out how to do it.

I have liked Cutler for a long time and I think he will be the most successful quarterback out of that list.

Vince Young will be a flash in the pan, mark my words.. his number this year are not that good, as a matter of fact last week they were awful,

as soon as these teams get a few games on tape next year and start figuring out patterns, Just like Mike Vick, His days will be numbered.

I also think Leinart is a close 2nd.

ask the texans about "less dangerous"

VY is playing like a seasoned veteran.

it's not even close. VY just has that "IT" factor as of now.

give JC some time, perhaps, but with two games under his belt, one less than mediocre, one against a poor poor team, that just isn't a large enough sample.

VY has beaten the cream of the crop, with flair.

Also VY is passing the ball at a 4 to 1 rate. He's not a classic running QB.

He's a passer, that is very very dangerous with his legs.

You like Cutler and I like Cutler

At least you mentioned Leinart who I'm no fan of...
