To do that, the o-line needs to protect Chad -- BIG TIME.

I don't think anyone is particularly afraid of their offense.

taylor is a beast, thomas a tackling machine, but they may be in QB evaluation mode, worse case scenario, they play joey harrington

Don't forget we have something about the outcome of this game. I trust Mangin, Schotty, and Pennington.

If the Jets come out flat next Sunday they don't deserve the playoffs.

They must show up and kick MUCH ass. Especially against the Phins.

    Not to be Taken Lightly

Miami scares me the same way Buffalo has always scared me...

Miami has a deep seated hatred for th Jets (as I do for the stinky fish) and while their season is a total shi# sandwich, they would love nothing more than to kill our run.

They need a gameplan that takes advantage of the strong pass rush of the fish and screen the crap out of them.

Funny but I meant to use the short passing game instead of the run.

They will show up and be all pumped. But an early score or two and the fish will mail it in by halftime.

Miami is going to come for us on Monday night. Their season is over, this will be their superbowl. They will want to keep us out of the playoffs, at all costs. Their O sucks but their D will come hard, VERY HARD. Gang Green will be waiting. Penny, Coles and the gang will find a way to get us enough points to win this game. We will not allow Miami to end our season. WE WILL NOT!!!! Mangini, will get his message through and Christmas will be good. Very Good, because Jackonville is going to lose to NE. Then the only thing standing between us and the playoffs will be the Oakland Traitors. And our house will rock and I mean ROCK as we pound the ever loving **** out of them.

No way they will come out flat. If they lose it will be because they were flat out beat. I don't buy that they came out flat agianst the Bills. They just got beat by a good team.

That's exactly how I feel about that last Bills game. The Bills could beat a lot of teams right now.

However, the ghosts of Jets' Decembers past still linger in my mind.
I remember in '04 when the Jets controlled their own playoff destiny, all they had to do was beat the Rams and get in and then they lost. It took a Bledsoe meltdown to get us in that year. No one can bail us out with a 7th loss.

That said, the Jax game is the only game I can recall this year where the Jets looked overwhelmed and flat. Possibly the Browns game, but that was more just Penny.
