What playoff QB would you want leading your team?

12 teams left.....i am curious to see where Pennington would be ranked in relationship to the other 11 qb's who lead their teams to the playoffs. rank in order the qb you feel would give you the best chance to win in this years playoffs.

    1) Brady ------ easy #1 for me
    2) Manning ---- always folds in the big game, but I'll take my chances.
    3) Brees --------i would like a little more experience, but he looks good.
    4) Pennington-----when he's on, he is very good.....GREAT leader.
    5) Hasselbeck----overall solid.
    6) Romo---------plays a little like Favre.
    7) Garcia-------what can you say...the guy is winning and plays hard.
    8) Mcnair------ old warrior, but the list stars to get ugly from here.
    9) Rivers----starting to show his inexperience.
    10) Green---- probrably should be ranked a bit higher, just not on my list.
    11) Manning--he sucks
    12) Grossman---sucks more.

I'd take everyone but Grossman and Eli over Chad.

    I'd take Eli over PennyBoy.

Grossman is the only one who is inferior to PennyBoy.

Bergen, thats kinda the point of this thread. Pennington has been taking a beating all year, by jet fans included, and I for 1 think he is a very capable qb.........their is not much out there.

Lol, Eli is SO bad, and you know it too. No one would ever choose Eli over Chad.

Don't answer him, he is someone who craves attention by saying the dumbest things.

    Exactly.

Eli's problem is that he has no one of any intelligence on the coaching staff to develop him, including Coughlin.

If you think Chad is inconsistent, just look at Eli.

Eli isn't NEARLY the kind of leader Chad is either.

    Here's my rankings:

    1. Tom Brady
    2. Drew Brees
    3. Chad Pennington
    4. Steve McNair
    5. Matt Hasselbeck
    6. Jeff Garcia
    7. Trent Green
    8. Peyton Manning
    9. Philip Rivers
    10. Tony Romo
    11. Eli Manning
    12. Rex Grossman

Wow... looking at that list, you really wonder if all the Chad bashing was deserved.

When it comes to the playoffs, it is all about leadership. Skill of course is very important, but Chad will not fold under pressure while I think some of these "more talented" fellas are susceptible to doing so.

Here are my rankings of who I think has the best chance to succeed in the playoffs... of course Chad will be my homer number 1, and I am very happy to have him under center... but I will try to be objective

    1. Brady - superbowls speak for themselves unfortunately
    2. Peyton - this guy can throw, he is bound to succeed eventually
    3. Brees - outstanding year
    4. PENNINGTON - he will never be the reason the Jets lose in the playoffs
    5. Hasselbeck - very talented... can definitely make noise this year
    6. McNair - been there, done that
    7. Rivers - very inexperienced, has the potential
    8. Garcia - why not??? he's winning ballgames
    9. Green - to be perfectly honest... who knows with him in the playoffs???
    10. Romo - looks like he's flinging poo right now
    11. Grossman - will be the downfall of the Bears
    12. Eli - can you picture this guy taking control of the team and leading them down the field when they most need it to win? I absolutely cannot!
