Lovie Smith: 0-1 vs. Patriots in Super Bowls

Defensive Coordinator for the St. Louis Rams when the Patriots won their first Super Bowl. He couldn't stop Brady from coming down the field at the end of the game....he'll lose again in 2 weeks unfortunately.

Your ppoint? He was the def. Cordinator not head coach. And it was with the Rams not the Bears.

Did you not read the message? The point is that he will lose again in 2 weeks. That's my prediction.

That Lovie coached against the Pats in that SB is something that people forget as well.

Pats need to beat colts first.. They make it 21-10 halftime the game will be far from over.

If it is a Patriots-Bears SB (and this game is far from over), you would have to give the edge to the Patriots, but the Bears definitely will have a chance. The Bears have a very good running game, and their defense will definitely come to play in the SB. Unfortunately, I don't see Grossman having a good game against a Belichick defense.

2001 Rams also had about 1/4 of the Defensive Talent the 2006-7 Bears Do.

Not saying they'll win, but it's a completely different scenario this time around.

I agree ,this notion of the Pats blowing out the Bears is crazy. 17-13 the first meeting and it seems like the Bears were on the road since Butkus was playing. I feel it will be closer then a lot of people think.

I guess you didn't see the Moga thread. He put $2 grand on the Pats. No way they win now.
