I like the 1st two picks alot. Bain would have to be a super riser to go 2nd round no? And I've never even heard of Chase Johnson.

I think the Jets need to make a big splash in the secondary if they want to keep up with the pats this year.

I think they'll take the best CB avaliable in round 2.... to me, Tavarous is the best one.

Wow Francis in Round 2 might trump Schlegel in round 3. Read he was supposed to be a 3-4 DE and then showed up at the combine weighing 250

He actually weighed in at 6-5, 280, which isn't too bad. The 250 number was a false from a site that used his college weight from before his Junior Year because they didn't have the up to date numbers.

The bad picks in this one are Travarous Bain and Chase Johnson, neither of which has any buisness being drafted on Day 1, and aren't worth even considering until at least the 5th round.

Travarous Bain is a very underrated player.

He has very good size for a corner and long arms, has a pedigree, timed a 4.43 forty at the combine, played at the U before transferring to Hampton.

The only low-point of this kid is his strength, which will get better.

Tavarous Bain is a good player and a great athlete.

Hey, JG, I actually like this mock. Not sure about Johnson that early, but he's the right type of player, and with no 4 the Jets may have to reach a bit in the third. Though if they're going to do that, I'd prefer they go with Walter Thomas.

I like it... but here's my slightly different take:

    1st round- OL Justin Blalock
    2nd round- DE Iaika Alama-Francis
    2nd round- FB Brian Leonard
    3rd round- LB Tim Shaw

1st #25- Paul Posluszny, LB, Penn State
    2nd # 59 - Josh Wilson, CB, Maryland
    2nd #63 - Zach Miller, TE, ASU
    3rd #89 - Marshall Yanda, OG, Iowa

    Shred away...
