We beat the Giants (by a lot) and isn't that all that really matters?

And of course, the most hilarious parts?

Sabres at 1 doesnt surprise me at all. They had a profile about their owner on TV and he does great things for them and they always have a packed house and a great team.

I don't get it. What's the criteria? If it is winning, attendance, and money put into the organization. Shouldn't the Yankees be a bit farther up?

    Hockey is a real sport?

They might as well include the NASCAR teams on the list while they are at it.

these rankings are retarded... how are the yankees not in the top 10 for the titles category... what can the category be based on... even if it weights recent titles won, the packers should not be ahead of the yankees in that category

that's actually a really good point about the packers being so high...

i really can't think of a viable answer.

dont worry...take the 9 NHL franchises ahead of the pats, and they're still not in the top 20

Because you get demerits when you "buy" titles.

Will you be saying the same thing if the Pats win this season?

For the record I am a Mets fan.

Besides.. The Yankees have how many homegrown players?

Jeter, Posada, Pettitte, Mo Rivera, Cano, Wang, Melky, Phillips, Karstens....

The Red Soxs have... 3? Varitek, Papelbon and Lester.

The Pats are still $7.8 million under the cap.

All 32 teams in the NFL play under the same level playing field, unlike MLB.

    So what is your point?

NO! Because they are the "premier" team in NY market.

All I know is....Christmas Day and Thanksgiving PRIMETIME GAMES in back-to-back seasons. Who's "Premier"?

St. Louis Cardinals are only 19th? Hmmm they have a new stadium, a wonderful fan base, have several clutch and hearty players, and just won a title.
