If you actually posted on pats boards, they'd be in the top ten.

Because Pats fans are either bandwagon jumpers or robots. And robots don't have feelings.

Because there are only about a couple thousand original Pat fans on the entire planet. The remainder of the Pat "fans" had an epiphany when the Pats won the SB in 2001.

Yup. Not enough fans to qualify.

By the way, the Dolphins should have been higher on that list.

Every year they play one "home" game where there's more fans of the visiting team than the home team.

For the record, TX joined this board in 2003, IMMEDIATELY AFTER HE BECAME A PATRIOTS FAN.

    Karma and this list:

    1) The Bills went the the Super Bowl 3 times within the last 20 years. That, in itself disqualifies them.

    2) The Browns I can see being in the top 5, but not the top 2....

    3) Philly teams are on there twice.....and they should be....PHILTH-adelphia and their battery tossing fans, their scumbag GM's (Bobby Clarke) and Phanatic Mascots are as close to EPL fans as the US has, so they deserve to suffer. Maybe if they learn some class, then maybe Murphy's law will forgive them.

    My Rankings:

    1) The Cubs-You know you are going to lose, there's no hope, now the GM spends $300 Million on a pile of spare parts with no post-season experience at all and DOESN'T RE-SIGN THE BEST YOUNG PITCHER IN THE NL (ZAMBRANO) prior to bumping the entire pitching market into frenzy by throwing $7 million/year at Jason Marquis (trash).....

    2) Montreal Canadiens-Here's the problem, this team has had limited success recently, but THIS IS THE YANKEES OF HOCKEY. They are supposed to win their division each and every season. Their fans are rabid, but educated. In any event, think what the paper would look like every morning from April through September if the Yankees absolutely sucked....think about what the games would sound like......that's the Canadiens now. There's not much hope in the future either.....

    3) NY Jets- Wouldn't it be nice to make a Super Bowl? Or at least have a team that looked like a shoo-in to compete for it? Last time I felt that way was for one play in 1998....then Vinny popped his achilles.....

How are the Maple Leafs and there fans (Me) not on this list?

And if the Montreal Canadians where on the list that would be a joke.

They won the Stanley Cup in 1993...

IMO the capital oh hockey, Toronto...hasn't won the Stanley cup since 1967 (40 years.)

GOD made me a Yankee fan so I wouldn't kill myself because of the Jets and Maple Leafs.

I do not like how they rank this. They consider a suffering meter and add points if the team was above .500 or loss in the layoffs. The problem is in the NBA many under .500 teams make the playoffs, and even in the NFL. Baseball until 94 only had 4 total teams in the playoffs and only 8 since 94.

So basically if your baseball team wins 90 games and doesn't make the playoffs. Chances are they failed in a long playoff run. Than this poll thinks you suffered less than a .500 NBA playoff team that made the playoffs.

And when your team stinks you suffer, last place teams cause suffering also. Granted bad playoff losses sting and are painful, but a 2-14 season is no picnic.

BTW Cleveland fans are the most long suffering. Between the Brows and the Tribe, the last 45 years must be agony. At least they have Lebron now
