    Cannizaro on with Duke Castiglione.

He was just on with Duke on Ch. 5 and he said...he could see the Jets selecting Greg Olsen or a CB in the draft. He said their is a SLIM chance they go Line backer. He mentioned Houtson's name as a choice.

Cannizaro knows as much as we do.

There is no Jet's beat writer who does a poorer job than Cannizzaro. Rarely does he write anything insightful or useful.

Randy Lange is the only reporter whose Jets articles are worth any salt. He's now writing only on the official jets website but hasn't seemed to lost his candor, though I doube he's allowed to call Chad 'noodle arm' and the like.

Except when it comes to memorizing the menu at Quiznos. He's got that down pat.

Just a few days ago, he was hot for the new "4-3" scheme Mangini was running

    this time last year....

cannizarro was in the midst of thrashing the Jets for every move. Remember when he trashed the Abraham deaL to Atlanta? He said you don't trade a premier pass rusher for a draft pick. And he bashed it when the trade turned into Mangold. Of course, now we don't read too much about that.

Here is a guy who was angry last summer because he actually had to WORK for his stories due to Herm being let go. Less golf, less buffet and more work.

I'm sure he and you meant selecting in the 1st round.

I'd be shocked if they didn't select a LB, especially day 1....

That's the problem with these writers they make such a big deal about the 1st round. IMO the 2nd & 3rd round are just as important in building a solid franchise.
