Any one catch the new moring show on the FAN. It's not bad Boomer is actually really good. They do a lot of throw backs to his Jets days. Check it out its not the same ole morning thing. Interested to hear your opinions.

I caught a little bit during the last two morning drives, not bad...they were discussing the war mostly. I've always liked Boomer, not necessarily as our QB.

I think he's done quite well.

He just had a discussion with Monica Crowley about her days working with Richard Nixon the last four years of his life.

...He walk 4-5 miles a day
    ...walked a 5am..rain or shine
...biggest fear was Alzheimers and losing his mental capacities, so he wrote and MEMORIZED all his own speeches as well as continuing to write books
...said he knew that whatever he did he would always be primarily remembered for Watergate and China.

But Jetswin..In his first year as a Jet he had 16 td's 11 picks 3424 yds and completed 60% of his passes..If Chad did that you would say Good year!

He was ok but there was way too much preaching the idiotic Republican company line. Not that the Democrats are that much smarter but it was just too much. They should stick to sports!

Imus's show was never sports radio. They are trying to fill that void.

That show is awful. Boomer should stick to sports...he is knows nothing about anything else. When he talks about naything else he sounds like an idiot.

Same here. I was pleasantly surprised, and Boomer flashed a sense of humor with some of his stories and his back-and-forth with Chris Carlin.

My impression too. Monica Crowley is something of an idiot. I think Major Owen dismissed almost every partisan point she attempted to make. They guy seemed actually balanced in his approach, which was refreshing.

Anyone listen this morning? They had a fake Rich Kotite phone in, pretty funny. He said he was auditioning for TV shows, they wanted him to play someone on trial for killing a football team.

Boomer on the radio is like listening to one of your buddies hosting a show, he doesn't take himself too seriously.

They had a phony interview with Bill Clinton regarding the Madam scandel in DC. It was funny as hell.
    Anyone hear it?
