Significant subtractions: FB B.J. Askew, RB Kevan Barlow.

They should have deleted "significant" for the Jets report.

I stopped reading when I noticed they had the Bills second. I'd be shocked if they weren't picking in the Top 5, nevermind challanging the Jets.

LOL! The bills lose their entire defense this offseason and they become better?

    Great analysis

I think the Billlls are going to be the surprise team this year they have really improved their o-line, young rising QB, I love Parish and there defense is young and will improve. They could be the 2007 version of the 2006 Jets.

Cosign. Losing Fletcher was addition by subtraction, Spikes was a hard hit, but Clements is more than replaceable in their defensive system. They will still be hurting on defense, but no more than last year. Their offense will be good, as long as their "new and improved " O-line learns to play with each other over the course of the year.

Marv is behind the wheel now. He will improve that team.

I live in Florida you got to see some of these 80 year olds at the wheel though. Yes seriously I think he has done a nice job restocking the team.

BUF - Significant subtractions: RB Willis McGahee, LB London Fletcher, LB Takeo Spikes, CB Nate Clements, G-T Mike Gandy, G Tutan Reyes.

NYJ - 'Significant subtractions': FB B.J. Askew, RB Kevan Barlow.

Subtract 2 very mediocre players from a 10-6 team.

Subtract 4 franchise caliber players from a 7-9 team.

Does Prisco watch the same NFL we do?

I mean what is the color of the sky where he comes from?

Eh, the Bills board I was lurking at yesterday had most everyone predicting a terrible season. Losman apparently has had an awful offseason, both in training camp and pre-season, and most of the fans are clammoring for Trent Edwards. And there was an article from a beat writer saying the Bills have will have one of the five worst defenses in the NFL this season. And the upgraded line hasn't been good at all.

As I write this post, I've seen 21 different teams during this preseason. That means when you add together each team's offense, defense, and special teams, I've seen a total of 63-different units. I will say that without a doubt, the worst of any of those 63-units was EASILY the Buffalo Bills defense.

They can't tackle, they can't cover, they can't put pressure on the quarterback.

It's time to start talking about JP potentially being a bust.

I'm sorry, the kid has a ton of skills and all but he's sure looking like a mental midget to me. Kind of wondering how long the pansy asses are going to baby and coddle him instead of insisting that he put up or hit the road. I haven't written him off but there certainly has to be some consideration that things aren't exactly as we'd like them to be for a qb going into his 4th season. Please, no Jim Kelly comparisons this kid is no Jim Kelly.

If he doesn't look like a complete stud by midseason it's time to cut our losses and move on.

There's some of the posts and articles that have been posted the past two days. Granted, we have loads of negative threads here and some holes in our roster as well, but we were a 10-6 playoff team last season and have a smart young coach. I don't think there's any way that Buffalo finishes ahead of us.

JP Losman is the inverse of PennyBoy.

There's no way Bills finish ahead of us, even is SAR's 7-9 prediction is right. They won't beat us for 2nd.

It seems like we aren't the only AFC East team in QB controversy...

That all may be true, but unfortunately for Buffalo they are faced with a brutal schedule this year. We had the luxury of doing the turnaround against a significantly weaker schedule.
