Since the JMac autograph thread is closed:

I just wanted to say that if I bring my own football, will I have to hold onto it for him to sign? Or can he handle holding onto the ball for a second?

Eric, you won't need to hold it. JMac can hold the ball just fine. Just don't toss the ball or the pen to him. That's where the problem starts.

Depends on HOW you hand it to him. You may throw an "uncatchable" ball.

Maybe if I throw it to him before the session starts. The Pre-Session. He'll catch it no problem then.

    Not a chance.

Most of you are neglecting that if he's signing the football, he'd only be able to hold on to it with ONE hand.

I say he maybe get's through 10 autographs before he leaves, because with in the first 10 people he'll most likely hear a joke like "Don't drop it..." 9 times.

Maybe they could have Chad their to get him the ball, so he get's a softly thrown ball.

Anybody remember the TD he dropped in New England in '04, when we were both 5-0 (also at the end of the game). We would have won 14-13 and that could have changed that entire season...

That's when I first hated the guy and was on the Anti McCraphands Militia.

He's dropped a few on Pennington as well.

He is an equal opportunity choke artist.

Neither of the passes he dropped were easy catches. The first he should of had but still woulda been tough. If its right in his chest he catches it, he had to reach for it plus think about getting nailed by the saftey. The second one Clemens threw too high, Anyone whos played some reciever knows how hard it is to catch a bullet thats over your head from about 10 yards away. You're expecting the ball in the chest then you have to move your hands up over your head within a split second.

Funny thing is most of you who are dissing him probably couldn't catch a nerf ball if Penne lobbed it to you with some touch.

If anyone ACTUALLY goes to the signing, please just look at him, shake your head, and then kick him in the balls. You'd be instantly declared a hero by Jets fans everywhere.
