OT: I'm sorry, but, I must re: Tom Glavine

Tom Glavine, the Mets "ace" and future HOFer (obviously as a friggin Brave) gives up FIVE runs in the first inning (including an error by the former Gold Glover Glavine) to the last place Marlins and costs the NY Mets a post season - single handidly.

Absolutely disgraceful. I ALWAYS felt deep down that he was a Brave and he leaves NY a true Brave. The Atlanta, Philadelphia, Miami, and San Diego fans all are laughing on the floor right now. Total Disgrace!

PS - The Marlins, like the Phillies, Nationals, and Tigers (earlier in the season) are completely out-testosteroning the Mets. I know the reason why, but, I wont say...let's just say it has something to do with Mets management and ethnocentrism

If the Jets lose against the Bills today, just watch out!

That was not Willie's fault that Glavine could only last one out.

Glavine sucks.. he crapped the bed today like he did his last outing. I never want to see him in a METS uniform again.

Honestly, I think Willie Makes a lot of bad decisions, but if you don't even hold Glavine accountable for the Mets losing, you really need to examine who you blame.

and he did get yanked...you would have had willie throw somebody out there without even warming them up?

glavine was absolute garbage today...a lot of things this season have been willies fault, but you cant blame him for this...

    55,000 booing

Mets fans lost all respect for Glavine today

I never trusted him in a Mets uniform (Glavine's record against Atlants is something like 3-15)

This is just so sad right now with the Mets.

Mets fans, just like Jets fans, deserve much much better.

    We'll always be COUSINS

    Its sad and true.

God just doesnt want us to have successfull sports teams. There is no way around it.

Yet another year goes by without me being able to witness a Mets or Jets title.

    The frucking saga continues...

oh i hold glavine accountable for sure....but willie has been horrible with bullpen usage for the entire 2 years he's been here. this was like the 7th game of the world series for the mets......you have someone ready right away.....and you stall like crazy if you have to, to get him ready. but you DO NOT let your starting pitcher give up 5 runs in the first inning. i didn't see the sequence, but willie has been too slow on the draw for as long as he's been here......

things that need to be done this offseason (off the top of my head)

-put omar on warning, he doesn't improve this teams personell this offseason, he's gone next season
    -fire willie
    -put rick peterson on warning
-revamp the entire bullpen, no one is safe, including wagner
-revamp the starting pitching....glavine is definitely gone or at best the #5 starter, but, imo, let him go back to the braves so we can tee off on him a few times a year, keep maine and perez, get a bona fide ace please.....
    -delgado is gone
-look to upgrade at second base and right field....
-upgrade left field, i like alou but he's too old and injury prone
-maybe look to get rid of loduca and upgrade the catching position
    -

basically, if it were me the only safe players would be beltran, wright, and reyes.
