We'd Be 4-1 If Kellen Were Our Starter From Day 1

Despite all our shortcomings, we'd be a game behind the Patriots this very day had Kellen gotten the rock from the git-go.

Patriots: 0-1. Loss with either QB.

Ravens: 1-1. Kellen almost beat them ice cold, off the bench. Starting against the Pats the week before gets his rhythm going from the opening snap, not just the fourth quarter.

Dolphins: 2-1. Win with either QB. Wouldn't have been a nail-biter at the end either.

Bills: 3-1. Wouldn't have made such ludicrous throws for INT's, would have opened up the running game against a depleted, lousy team.

Giants: 4-1. Defense scored a TD. Special teams scored a TD. OL did its job in pass protection. Jets lead by more than 10 in the fourth quarter, never blow the lead.

We'd have the #5 seed this very day and be just 1 game behind the Pats if Mangini had some balls to do the right thing with his rebuilding team.

We had the Giants and Bills games in our hands in the fourth quarter before Chad blew them, right?

We had the Ravens game almost won with Kellen finding out he was the starter 10 minutes before gametime.

How does that make me, not you, the idiot?

SAR, please put down the crack pipe.

The Jets overall team has more holes than a chunck of swiss cheese.

Thats bold...I dont know about all that.

    However, its not inconceivable.

If today wasnt a perfect example of how limited our team is because of Chad Pennington....then I dont know what is.

Only if we are willing to call it a season, Chad still gives us our best chance to win.........like it or not, it's true...........

Which is amazing because Thomas Jones couldn't find a hole to hit on Jenna Jameson!

No doubt, but if you watched all the games closely you'd agree with me.

The Bills and Giants contests were won had our QB not turned the ball over in the fourth quarter on ducks.

The Ravens game was almost a Kellen victory, and they almost lost to the Cardinals and did lose to the Browns the week after. Not some NFL juggernaut.

No, he really doesn't. He is the reason we lost today. Our D started to play better, but our offense didn't do anything. If not for a couple great catches by Coles and Smith... Chad looks even worse.

I think 3-2 is more reasonable. We would have lost the Ravens game.

Now if we started the season with KC and no McCaraeins, 4-1 is a legit possibility

It's 50/50 jetgirl. Right now I don't think anyone can say that KC gives us a better chance to win than CP, but he certainly doesn't make our chances any worse. The Jets had a lead and were moving in to close the deal when CP made another bad mistake. At this point, there is NO UPSIDE to continuing to start Chad.

We can't say KC gives us a better chance to win until we see him play. And NOW is the time to start seeing him play so that we can answer the question and end the debating around here.

I'm sorry Jetgirl, but this is simply not true any longer.
