    Offense Offense Offense

Some people will say we need a pash rushing specialist, a NT, bigger Lb's or another safety.. While I 100% agree Im not sure that should be our focus in the offseason.

    OFFENSE OFFENSE OFFENSE

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are in the prime of there careers. They arent going anywhere. The only way to compete with these 2 teams is to keep up with them, which means you better have a high scoring, quick strike offense..

No defense can hold these guys down.. To contain the Pats & Colts offense would be to hold them in the mid to high 20's.. But to win the game you will have to drop atealst 30 on them. Dallas has a pretty darn good D and the Pats almost hit 50.

The Jets have some talent on offense but nobody that truly has other D's worried.. Nobody that an opposing coordinator has to game plan around.. We need to add playmakers..

It all starts with the QB spot.. Nobody knows if Clemens is the answer but we sure would like to see. Its time! We need to find out what he has and see if he will be part of the future.. Clemens, Cotchery, Brick, Mangold and Leon Washington is who we need to build this offense around.. The rest of it needs to be upgraded. Thomas Jones is solid but hes got only a couple more years left at a good level. So we need to find that young workhorse type back. Coles is also getting long in the tooth.. Not saying let him go but we could use that bigger faster guy.. Brad Smith is a nice role player but not a #1 or #2 type WR.. We need a star WR opposite Cotch. Jets need there own version of(Moss, T.O. , Williams, Edwards, etc..) or someone that is a flat out burner with hands..We need weapons!!

The only way to compete with todays top NFL teams (Colts and Pats both in the AFC) is to score.. Even with a D like Baltimore they wont stop the Pats and Colts of today. And these 2 offenses have 4-5 more years left in them. Atleast!

OFFENSE OFFENSE OFFENSE! This is what we need to build to compete with the Best. This obvioulsy wont happen in one year. But we need to start rebuilding this offense before the D IMO.. We could add 4 STUDS on defense and that would'nt be enough to stop the Pats or Colts.. We have to build a scoring machine.

We need so much right now, I can't even begin to get into it.

Offense? Definitely, we need help there, especially along the offensive line.

Defense? We probably need MORE on defense than we do on offense. Our D line gets shredded all the time. You CAN'T win of you can't stop the run.

As far as WR moves go, I like what we have and I hope we keep it.....

You'd be amazed how much better our defense would play if our offense was better. Our offense sustains drives = our defense can rest and not spend 3/4 of the game on the field. Our offense scores points = our defense faces a one-dimensional offense which is easier to stop.

All aspects of the game flow into each other. For the second time this year, our defense allowed 17 points or less and our offense completely failed to show up.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I can't blame the defense after they allowed 17 or fewer points. The defense did it's job.

Like I said yes we need more defense.. But even adding 4 studs on D is not enough to beat the best..

The only way to compete with the Pats and Colts is to have a high scoring, high powered offense.. The best D in the league cant hold these 2 teams under 25-30..

We need to build an offense that can score and score a lot and score quick.

Sorry but i disagree, we actually have a very well rounded offense. We have a great WR core, an underrated and unde3r used TE, a good RB tandem and a decent line that will only get better. Put a real QB behind center and watch this unit go.

The 2 teams you mentioned the Colts and the Pats have great QBs which make there offense look that much better. You put Brady or Manning on the Jets there offense is top 5 in the league. You put Chad on the colts or Pats there offense is bottom 5 in the league.....its that simple.....we need production from the most important position in the game and we are just not getting it

the Jets gave up 16 points yesterday, that's a decent performance in the NFL

the other team has talent (westbrook) they are going to score - you need more from the offense
