    david harris the tackling machine

41 tackles in 2 weeks. you can say that alot of them were easy wrap ups after an 8 yard gain, but still 41 tackles in 8 quarters.

Sorry but there was nothing exciting about his game besides the tackle count. They ran us over today (250 + yards on the ground). He had a Vilma day today. JMO

You're right, we can say it...because it's the TRUTH. He made alot of tackles, because we weren't stopping anything on the ground in any form till it hit 8 yards deep...and then fell forward for three more yards, right through Jets Defenders.

It's be easier to love Harris if the rest of teh Jets D didn;t look so pathetic, especially the D-line.

I did and he didn't have the impact he had last week. A majority of his tackles were far off the LOS.

I agree he's definitely an upgrade over Vilma, and our problem is the defensive line.

Harris made some plays behind the line of scrimmage in both weeks and he makes big hits also. Both of those secnarios are not ven in Vilmas playbook. Harris can't be everywhere all you can ask for is some stops behind the line and solid tackles. Harris does both frequently. He should have started from day one.
