    How about B-Hop/Trinidad?

Hopkins did a ton to tick off Trinidad before the fight too, and practically noone game him any type of chance what so ever (including myself).

All we would need would be for all the players on the Jets to place bets on themselves to win, and the comparison would be spot on.

Sucks doesn't it? It's all we read about last year.

Who knows what he's doing to motivate the guys this year, but there hasn't been any boxing talk since way before the season started. And I'm pretty sure Teddy Atlas hasn't been around this season.

Well the proportions of the upset WOULD be about the same.

If my memory serves me correctly, Douglas was something like a 34-1 underdog for that fight in Tokyo.

I had heard MOST betting parlors didn't even have a line on the fight as NO ONE was interested in losing there money.

As far as our matchup goes this weekend, there certainly will be a betting line, but that isn't what is important.

Maybe instead of losing by 25 we lose by 24 and someone wins money by beating the spread?

Us Jets fans want VICTORY. At least for me and with what the team has gone through this season, I think VICTORY is much more important than winning money.......

How about Mangini shows them the scene from "Back To The Future" when Marty McFly's nerdy dad knocks out Biff just as he was about to have his way with Lea Thompson in the car! That sure got me going!

One of the great, great forgotten upsets. Randy Turpin beats out Sugar Ray Robinson when Sugar Ray was at the absolute top of his game in the prime of his career.
