Not too far from the truth re: dinking and dunking.

I'm surprised more QB's don't do it more..

Thankfully they don't as far as I'm concerned, but the temptation has to be there. Most people see a bunch of completed passes as a good day for the QB.

I happen to agree. Whats the problem? It was no different than watching Pennington.

Pennington couldn't have made quite a few of those throws though..

Well, considering that during the regular season, Brady was over 12 YPC and this game, he was in the Chad-like 10 YPC range, I would say that there is some truth to the "dinking and dunking".

However, that doesn't change the fact that it was a great performance and, if not for two drops by his receivers, he would have completed all 28 passes he attempted.

Well, the argument ends when you point out the thing that Brady did in this game that Pennington is incapable of... he lead his team to FOUR 70+ yard TOUCHDOWN drives.

Actually, there was only one (Welker) drop that game.

Brady misfired on the other incompletion.

Pats should get rid of the bum for that.

Reggie was playing very similar to the way he used to with the Gators.

He was dropped way back in coverage taking away the deep threat.

He dissing Brady for doing what he should have done. If you are going to give him the underneath stuff then sobeit. Dink and dunk all day long.

Mike Smith should have started to pull Reggie up some, but the second you do that...Randy streaks the sideline for a bomb.

    Sour Grapes Reggie...Sour Grapes.

I disagree, Brady put the ball where he had to, it was a tough catch but it hit Watsons hands.

The greatest play is when Brady hit Stallworth, the one chance they gave him to get the ball down the field and he nailed with “screen pass” pass protection.

Maybe not a drop per se, but Watson still got his hands on it... Mickey Shuler would've hauled it in.

Dinking and dunking was why Chad's qb ratings and low interception percentages were deceiving for years. When your leading receiver is a fullback there's a big problem.

Although he did get Ritchie Anderson into the Pro-Bowl.

Why do they call it "dinking and dunking" anyway?

He isn't dunking anything and I have no idea what dinking is. Honest.

ok so Tom Brady dinked and dunked - bottom line is they won!!! If you knew he was dinking and dunking how about adjusting - obviosuly NE adjusted to Jax defense.

Its like a chess match - you take away the deep threat - dink and dunk - you take away the run - throw the ball - its move and counter move

    From Wikipedia (dink) -
D.I.N.K: Dual Income No Kids, a financial term used for couples with no kids.
    A 'jerk' or 'goof'
    ....
To stare at another person intently with sexual desire.
    A penis.
Military slang for a recruit in training, "Desperately In Need of Knowledge"
So assume in case of Brady dinking is staring on other players penises with sexual desire. No wonder he is excellent in that.
