I saw them at The Spectrum in 1983....I had a 1970 Mach I Mustang and was rearended by a drunk driver (driving a '61 Lincoln Continental with suicide rear doors) as I was sitting at a stoplight leaving the show....Great show, but my Mach was DESTROYED.

First concert I ever went to was Rush in Nassau Colleseum. It had to be 1986/7. What an Fing mess. There were people lined up on there back passed out outside the bathrooms. @ssholes in the uperdecks started throwing beer bottles into the lower rows and caught my buddy smack in the head. We left the concert half way through in an abulance to the hospital. That night sucked but I gues I could have grown up in Boston listening to the New Kids on the Block or whatever the chowds grew up on.

I was at that concert! It was April 1986. The hallways and bathrooms were dense clouds of pot smoke. Not the worst I've seen by a long shot, but, i remember the overpowering stench. Cops back then didnt care if you smoked.

I dont remember any violence at this concert. Maybe you were there a different night.
